The Child Safeguarding Statement, which includes the Risk Assessment, is displayed in a prominent position near the main entrance of our school with the name of the DLP also prominently displayed next to it. These have now been reviewed. A copy of the Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment can be requested  at any time and is available below by clicking on the link along with notification of the review. Last years Anti Bullying Policy and its implementation has also been reviewed, the checklist used and notification of same can be found at the below link.

Bí Cinéalta is our new policy to prevent and address bullying behaviour and supersedes the Anti Bullying Policy.

Green School News

We have really lovely green school news to share with our whole school community. We are working towards our eighth  green school flag and as part of this programme we are looking at the Global Development Goals.  In June last the children in Marshalstown  raised money for the charity Crosscause. We have been informed that this money has been used to sponsor four children in Ghana to go to school for two terms. These children are from very poor families and would not be going to school without the help of  the children here in Marshalstown school.So well done children we are very proud of your generosity and concern for those who need our support.

 

 

Jack and Jill Fundraiser

A huge thank you to all that contributed to the Jack and Jill no uniform day fundraiser – we raised 290.00. We sent in total 500.00 to Jack and Jill after a generous donation. Jack and Jill have sent on a thank you letter and certificate in recognition of our contribution, which will help provide over 27 hours of home nursing care for our families-well done to all involved.Jack & Jill Certificate
