Letters to the Nursing Home

As we are aware An Post have given free post to nursing and care homes as restrictions have stopped visitors.

So, 5th class in Marshasltown wrote letters to people that are in a nusring home and posted them off last week.

Well done 5th class on a lovely gesture.

ESB Curiosity Box

Bruce Lett, a parent of one of our sixth class students entered a competition for an ESB Curiosity Box and won. He very kindly passed it onto the school. We were thrilled to receive the prize and already the students have tried the ‘strength challenge’. Thanks to Bruce for thinking of us.

Aistear…Homes and Houses!

Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st Class have been super busy this week learning all about homes and houses during their Aistear time. They have been using language such as detached, semi-detached, terraced, two storey, bungalow, kitchen, living room etc. Using this knowledge, they have been making some wonderful creations at their Aistear stations. Click on the photos for a closer look at Aistear in action! 🙂
