Kathleen knows stuff!

Kathleen from 4th Class took to the airwaves on Wednesday morning to take part in Ryan Tubridy’s quiz “I know stuff”.

She had a great conversation with Ryan and even sang a song from the musical Les Miserables for him. Kathleen answered her five questions correctly and was rewarded with a tacky orange lunchbox!

She also requested Ryan to ask her teacher, Miss Buckley, for homework off for her class. Ryan has put this request in writing and the whole class are waiting anxiously to see if her wish will be granted!! 🙂

Table Quiz Results

Recently, two teams from Marshalstown NS took part in the Wexford Credit Union Table Quiz competition, held in the Riverside Hotel in Enniscorthy.

Our Under 11 team of Odhran Tyrell, Dylan Bolger, Naoise O’ Leary and Fiachra Busher came in 5th place while our Under 13 team of Eimear Doyle, Lettie Hassett, Johnny Hassett and Niall Kehoe also came in 5th place. This was a fantastic result as they were challenged by 36 teams in total.

Well done to both teams and to everyone who came along to support them on the day. The staff and children of Marshalstown NS are very proud!
