Wishing this wonderful bunch of young people all the best as they leave our school and move on to the next chapter in their lives. We had some lovely time together today taking plenty of photographs and sharing memories. They loved looking at old photos of themselves from school tours and activities from their years in school!

Fifth and Sixth Classes School Tour
Fifth and Sixth Class went to Russborough House on Thursday 29th June and had a great day, jam packed with activities like archery, rock-climbing, canoeing and zip-lining. The buses were far quieter on the way home in the afternoon, a sure sign of a great and busy day!

What an exciting year we have had in 3rd class.
We completed so many projects, and learnt amazing new facts. We worked together in pairs and small groups.
We really enjoyed dressing up for workd book day and sorting our class library. (I do believe we will have a furure famous author in our class)
First and Second Class School Tour 2023
First and Second Class had a wonderful day out on Tuesday for our school tour. After waving off our families at Marshalstown National we headed for The Chocolate Garden of Ireland. Luckily the rain stayed away and once we reached our first destination we were able to have a break and enjoy the outdoor play area. We could have played there all day but we had a busy chocolate making workshop to attend. We learned where chocolate comes from and how it is made, we tasted different types of chocolate and we got to make our own chocolate teddy bears to take home. After all that chocolate we headed for our second destination….The Dome! We enjoyed bowling, laser tag and a sports simulator for the afternoon. Once we had finished all the treats we had brought we were back on the bus and headed back to Marshalstown. We had the best day and we would definitely recommend The Chocolate Garden. 
Sixth Class Water Fun
Today Sixth class had a water fight. Great fun was had by all!
Medal Winners
Today we presented the children with medals for the following sporting achievements:
- Girls Camogie Roinn C District champions
- Girls Camogie Roinn C County Final runners-up
- Boys Football Roinn C District champions
- Boys Hurling Shield Final Champions
Well done to everyone involved!
Pizza Party
Yesterday, 6th class had a pizza party. The children had great fun making the pizza dough and adding their favourite toppings. The pizzas looked, smelled and tasted delicious!
6th Class Graduation
It has come to that time of the year where we are about to say goodbye to our 6th class students. It has been such a pleasure to work with them over the years and we wish them all the best as they start secondary school. We had our 6th class Graduation recently and the students took some graduation photos – take a look!
