Tag Rugby Day

The children had a great day today as all classes enjoyed Tag Rugby with Graham. The sun shone and the children had a great time.

Gymnastics 6 week lessons for all

Our focus for our Active Flag Renewal is gymnastics this year. We were so lucky to have Joe in for 6 weeks to complete 30-40 minute gymnastic classes for all our classes. The students really enjoyed this and I’m sure there are many that will continue gymnastics outside of school.

6th class finished their 6 week block by demonstrating their balancing skills by creating a human pyramid! From our feedback from the students they absolutely loved their gymnastics classes!

GAA- 2025

Big well done to our 6th class members who have made the Rackard League Enniscorthy District team. They have made the final in Wexford park next Tuesday. They have already demonstrated great skill so far. Thanks to Rackard League for organising a great tournament.

FAI Soccer- AVIVA HERE WE COME!!

Massive congrats to our FAI 5 aside girls soccer team who are Leinster Champions. They are now representing Leinster in the Aviva in June!! What an amazing achievement , we are so proud of you all!

GAA- 2021

2nd, 3rd and 4th class are currently getting some fantastic coaching from our Wexford GAA coaches. They have been doing a mixture of gaelic football and hurling/camogie and are having great fun!

5th and 6th Class are currently being coached by our local coach in GAA. Before Christmas they developed their Gaelic football skills and after Christmas they are now developing their hurling skills. The boys and girls are all enjoying this coaching and matches!!

Cycle Right!

5th and 6th class have started a 6 week cycling safety lessons with Cycle Ireland. The children will have the opportunity to learn safety when cycling and also put these rules into practice by cycling in a safe environment in school. Bikes are provided and 5th and 6th class are really enjoying their lessons.

We’re on the road!!!

5th and 6th class finished their cycle safety course by cycling on the road with the instructors. We were very lucky to get such a great day for it! The boys and girls were able to put everything they have learned into practice and they really enjoyed it!
