Curiosity Club Busy At Work

Fourth class and sixth class had great fun designing and making some wonderful minibeasts recently. They were hard at work making a centipede, ladybirds, a hunting spider, a crocata spider and a Devil’s Coach Horse beetle.  They researched fascinating facts online and made very interesting presentations to each other. Well done everyone!

Recycled St Patrick’s Day Hats and Easter Bonnet Races

This year the green schools committee held our St. Patrick’s and Easter Bonnet races once again. We also wanted to celebrate ‘seachtain na Gaeilge’. The whole school got a chance to make hats out of recycled materials, for example cereal boxes, milk cartons or just things lying around that were not being used. Everyone had great fun. There were prizes and lots of pictures taken.

Well done to all the wonderful children who created the most amazing hats for our races today.  Thanks so much to all the parents/ guardians who helped their child to make such great creations. We have some incredible artists and designers in our midst.
