Junior Infants have been busy learning about ‘The Gruffalo’ and all things woodland for the month of November. We have learned a fantastic poem called ‘Five little owls’. We have also been busy working on our woodland inspired Art as well as trying to catch the Gruffalo in the role play area during Aistear.

INSPA Photography Awards – Update
We are so proud of our INSPA photography competition finalists who received their prizes recently! Each finalist received a framed copy of their competition entry photo and a certificate. We also received our Positive Primaries flag and Finalist School certificate.
Science Week in 2nd Class
We had great fun this week trying out some experiments for Science Week. We are not sure which one is our favourite but we loved the Skittles rainbow. Have a look at some of our photos from the week below.
International Medal Winners
On the 21st and 22nd of October myself, Dylan Johnson and my brother Ryan competed in the IKC International Kenpo Karate tournament in Lisbon, Portugal.
We competed in Kenpo forms, sparring (fighting) and team forms. I won gold, silver and bronze medals. Ryan won gold and two silver medals.
We had great fun with our teammates and also toured Lisbon. A weekend we will never forget.
