We recently had a wonderful Viking day in Marshalstown when Vikings arrived in our school! Patrick Dunne and his fellow Viking Re-enactors set up in a classsroom and provided a wonderful display of all things Viking!! They had samples of weaponry, clothing , food and crafts  and taught the children all about the amazing history of the Viking Era. Patrick, is a member of the group Deise Medieval who travel all over Ireland and  Europe to perform in Viking re-enactments. The students had a marvellous time and all classes enjoyed the event.
