Skipping 4 Life – with Skippy John
On Monday, Skippy John came to the school and showed the kids all the great fun you can have with a skippy rope and of course what a great way to get fit. The kids had a ball and gave a little demonstration at the end of the day! 
Sing Out Loud Concert 2017 Songs & Tickets
This year’s Sing Out Loud concert will take place in Wexford Opera House on Tuesday 21st November and it is hoped that all of the children in 4th, 5th and 6th Classes will participate in the show.
Tickets
The last day for ordering tickets from the school is the 11th October, which is this day two weeks away.
After this date, tickets will need to be ordered directly from the Opera House and the prices increase slightly as a result.
When ordered through the school ticket prices are as follows:
Adult €16
Child (under 16 years) €11
Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children) €45
Additional Family Child Ticket €9

The Sing Out Loud concert is a fantastic event and a wonderful opportunity for the children to perform in an amazing venue. We are looking forward to it already! 🙂
Understanding & Responding to Anxiety in Childhood
The Parents Association of Scoil Mhuire, Coolcotts in Wexford town have organised a talk by Mr. Peadar Maxwell, Chartered Psychologist, on how to respond to anxiety in childhood. This is sure to be a very popular discussion and all are welcome to attend the free event which takes place on Wednesday 27th September 2017 from 7.30 to 9.00pm. 6th Class Art Exhibition
Before they left our school in June, the 6th class students held an art exhibition which displayed items they had made themselves or collaboratively with a friend. I think you’ll agree that there are some fantastic art creations on show which really showed the talents of the children. Click on the photos for a closer look 🙂
