The boys and girls in 2nd class were busy planting this week. They planted strawberries, potatoes, carrots, spinach, lettuce, turnips and chives. We can’t wait to watch them grow!

This month the boys and girls in 2nd class have been enjoying the Run Around Ireland Challenge as part of the Active Schools Programme. Look at them go!

The children were learning about Data and Bar graphs in Maths and came up with surveys they would do with their classmates.
They used topics like our favourite colours, hobbies and farm animals to do their surveys and had fun asking all their classmates about their favourites.
They compiled very good graphs to show their results and answered lots of questions about them.
Here in First Class we worked on some lovely artwork for Saint Patrick’s Day. The children worked very hard on these and were very proud of their work.
We listened to lovely Irish music while we worked and then we took it outdoors into the sunshine and did our own dancing. It was great fun!
We hope everyone has a lovely long weekend and enjoys the Saint Patrick’s Day parades!
