November in Senior Infants

November in Senior Infants!
Senior Infants explored lots of sounds in November. This started with learning all about zoo animals and the different sounds that we might hear in the zoo! The children mapped their own zoos, listened to ‘Carnival of the Animals’ for the music and did lots of play time about the zoo.
At the end of the month, we expanded this more and the children learned about musical instruments and famous composers such as Mozart. The children loved learning all the facts about Mozart and helping him to conduct his opera, as well as building a new theatre for him in the construction area. They even conducted experiments on sound where they saw some dancing sugar!
Well done Senior Infants!
