4th Class Most Likely To…


4th class had their awards ceremony today!
They deliberated long and hard over who should get what award and the results are in!
It was great fun and there were plenty of surprises, laughs and discussions along the way.
Well done 4th class! 😀

Kia Ora Farm June 2023

Junior Infants, Ms McCarthy’s Class and Senior Infants had a wonderful time in Kia Ora farm.

 

3rd and 4th Class School Tour

3rd and 4th class had a great time on their school tour in Just for Fun Kids Camp in Carlow I.T.
They had great fun on the bouncy castles, obstacle courses, playing Wrecking Ball, Dodge Ball, disco domes and ladder races to name a few.
The children were busy and active all day but most importantly, they all had smiles on their faces.
They were so well behaved and are a credit to our school and their families.

Great Marshalstown Bake Off!

5th class had great fun today baking smarties cookies! They showed off their baking skills and the cookies turned out fantastic! Well done everyone! Here are some great pictures of the day!





























Soccer Tournament

4th, 5th and 6th class had great fun on Thursday for the soccer tournament! There was great competition and skill shown! It was great to see the whole school come out and watch the semi-finals and finals! We were so lucky with the beautiful weather!! Big thank you to the 5th class girls for taking photos on the day!



































































Junior Féile Competition

Shifra competed in the Junior Féile Competition which was held in Craanford National School on 18th June. Shifra is a fantastic musician and came 1st in the under 12 flute, under 12 tin whistle, céilí band and grúpa ceoil competitions. She came 2nd in the slow airs, under 12 duet and drumming competitions. She also came 3rd in the bodhrán and under 15 duet competitions. What a brilliant achievement! Well done Shifra!

5th class maths

5th class were busy learning about capacity in maths lessons recently. Today they went outside for some hands on learning where there were estimating and measuring the capacity of a variety of containers.







Historical Tour of Tomhaggard

Yesterday 6th class went to Tomhaggard for the day. With Fr. McDonald as their tour guide, the children were lead on a walking tour of the local area and Fr. McDonald explained items of historical interest along the way. The tour was very informative and enjoyed by all.
