Junior Infants had a great World Book Day. We shared our books with our class, 5th class came to read stories with us and we had a parade around the school to show off our costumes.

A busy February in second class preparing for our First Confession.
January
In January we celebrated New Year’s by making resolutions. We also learned about Antarctica and did our own research projects.
Our Buddy Bench
We’ve introduced a Buddy Bench in the school yard. If a child is looking for someone to play with they can sit on the bench. Then other children will ask them if they’d like to play with them. Here’s a picture of our Buddy Bench sign which was beautifully decorated by Evie and Saoirse in 3rd class.
